Here is a blast from the past, featuring three great musicians.  I have worked with Lyle Mays, he is simply one of the most talented musicians that I know – a remarkable composer and a keyboard magician.  Listen to his breathtaking piano improvisations and compositional skills.  Pat’s spectacular Guitar playing and Nana Vasconcelos’ exceptional Brazilian Percussion as well as his vocals, make this trio a favorite of mine. I hope you enjoy this deep and energizing music!

Wow, I just checked my website email and I want to thank the many people that have sent me all of the great comments and so quickly.  Please leave them here on my blog for others to see?  But I am grateful for all of the great feedback! So – here is another cut that you are sure to like – Herbie Hancock as well – Happy New Year.

Out of the country as I write, but on my latest international flight, I listened to this new release from Pat Metheny – Sounds of Silence, a new take on an old Simon & Garfunkle song.  Like my last post, this is one to relax and ease you into the New Year with a sense of calm and hopeful renewal.  Happy New Year to all!  My warm wishes to all of my subscribers old and new, may your New Year be filled with happiness, peace, success and music.
